Don’t Forget to Confirm Your Subscription

I see that a few people have registered to have NBFTA blog entries delivered to their in-box. However some have not clicked the confirmation link that is sent to the email address you subscribe with. It may be an oversight or your spam filter caught it.

Please remember that when subscribing to the blog feed you must confirm the subscription.

Have a good weekend!

Todd

Email Subscriptions

If you registered for the RSS subscription service that I talked about in the email I sent out then you will have to do it again. I screwed up when setting it up. I have enclosed the sign up form in this post. Alternatively, you can sign up by using the box located to the right. Simply enter your email address in the text box and click the ‘Subscribe’ Button.

If you do not know what I am talking about, this service will deliver all new blog entries once per day is there is activity on the blog during that day. This will help keep you informed of NBFTA activities in a timely manner.

Once you sign up, you will receive an email that has a link in it asking you to confirm your email address. This is to prevent spam attacks and false sign-ups.

Thanks

Todd

Welcome to the NBFTA

Welcome to the New Brunswick Forest Technicians Association. I invite you to browse through our new site and visit some of the links that we have made available to you. This site will provide you the opportunity to communicate with other techs, see what jobs may be available, and to read our newsletter ‘The Azimuth‘.

We have now switched to a blog format. This will allow us to speak to members and better disseminate information in a timely fashion. Also members will be able to speak to other members through here.

By default, everyone is granted subscriber status. This will allow you to comment on individual blog entries. If you would like to have ‘author privileges‘ for the site please contact me with the following:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone
  • Email
  • Affiliation
  • Information you wish to share

Once this information is received, the association will process your request in a timely fashion.

One of our objectives is to provide one voice on forestry issues as they relate to Forest Technicians. The best way for your voice to be heard is to join us and we will be heard across the land.
